For the last couple of years I have had a polythene greenhouse in the garden, but sadly it didn’t survive this year.
A week or so ago I made a large batch of passata. One of the things that I make with passata is tomato ketchup, and as my tomato vines are still producing tomatoes at a rate faster than I can consume them I decided to make a batch of ketchup.
This week has seen a few changes in the garden – the runner beans and sungold tomatoes had reached the end of their productivity so they were cut off and put in the compost bin, and I pulled the last of the carrots.
